Home Art Designs is the functional art studio of fine artist Linda McCord. Drawing on decades of experience as a professional painter, educator, and gallery owner, McCord brings a studio-based approach to objects intended for everyday use.

Each piece is created individually using fluid abstract techniques with acrylic paint, alcohol inks, and mixed media applied to porcelain, glass, and other durable surfaces. Color is layered and guided to create movement, depth, and organic pattern, allowing the materials to interact naturally while maintaining a cohesive composition. No two pieces are ever the same.

McCord’s background in realism and formal composition informs every object she creates. Her understanding of structure, value, and balance allows her to translate abstract processes onto functional forms without sacrificing craftsmanship or visual integrity.
